What if the patient decompensates?

Any status change is managed in real time by Care2U, and if the patient is no longer appropriate for in-home care, their treatment will be escalated to the nearest preferred Emergency Department.

Does Care2U offer ongoing advanced care?

Yes, Care2U can enroll patients who meet MCG eligibility requirements into the HIPLAC (High-Intensity, Physician-Led At-Home Care) program, delivering inpatient-level care to patients in their homes. Patients are eligible for 1-2 visits per day (at least one in person), remote patient monitoring, and access to our 24/7 care command center and on-call physicians.

What are some of the most commonly treated conditions by Care2U?

Common diagnoses treated by Care2U include, but are not limited to COPD Exacerbation, CHF exacerbation, complicated UTIs, Pneumonia, Cellulitis, Upper Respiratory Infections, dehydration, minor injuries, wounds, and more.

What are Care2U’s clinical capabilities?

Rapid, same-day in-home evaluation and telemedicine visit, IV infusions (abx, lasix, hydration), in-home STAT labs, point of care testing, mobile imaging, oxygen concentrators, and DME.

What is Care2U’s response time for rapid, in-home evaluations?

After receipt of the referral, Care2U will be on-scene in the patient’s home within 2-4 hours.
