How quickly can someone get to me?
Care2U delivers same-day care. A clinician typically arrives at your home within a few hours of your call.
What are your hours?
We accept new patients 7 days a week, 9 AM to 9 PM, 365 days a year, including holidays. If you are an admitted Care2U patient, we provide care and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Where do you serve?
In New York: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester and Putnam. Coming soon: Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. Care2U is in-network with most major insurance providers and sees all patients regardless of insurance type. Standard copays and deductibles apply, and some visits may include a concierge care fee. If you need a visit right away, call (833) 433-2273 and we will check your insurance for you.
What if I need the hospital?
If your condition needs hospital-level care, we can often admit you at home, where you sleep in your own bed with your family close by. If you need a hospital, the team arranges it.
Can a family member book for me, or be there?
Yes. Family members, caregivers and health care proxies book with us every day, and they can join the visit and the video call with the physician.
Is this for emergencies?
No. If you have chest pain, signs of a stroke, severe bleeding, trouble breathing, or you lose consciousness, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
How do you work with my own doctor?
We keep your primary care doctor and any specialists informed about your condition and treatment plan, and we send you back to them for follow-up.
What if I get worse while I’m being treated at home?
Our team monitors you, including with remote patient monitoring when needed, and responds quickly if anything changes. If you need a higher level of care, we arrange it and coordinate with emergency services.
Is care at home as good as care in a hospital?
Every visit includes two providers: a clinician in your home and a physician by video. The team brings the equipment for hospital-level testing and treatment, and our patient satisfaction scores are among the best in the industry.
